Was transferred briefly to Gearing from USS Davis (DD937) after 2 years and a Westpac. From Gearing I went to USS Lester (DE1022) and to Gitmo. Then to the Med in USS William R. Rush (DD714). Left Navy in Aug.71. Currentl Treasurer, USS Rush Assn. and ferry captain in Woods Hole to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket ... Good luck and success with your Association ... !!
